President/CEO

Thenera Bailey is the President/CEO of the SISGI Group. In this capacity she serves as the Interim Director of the SISGI Beyond Good Ideas Foundation, the organization’s nonprofit charitable division, and as the Editor of the social research blog, NotEnoughGood.com. Thenera has an accomplished career as a consultant, trainer and technical assistance provider to programs, organizations, government agencies, nonprofits, corporations, schools and school districts. She has extensive experience in social entrepreneurship having started a nonprofit organization upon completion of her undergraduate degree. Since then, she has continued to assist other individuals and organizations in developing their nonprofit organization, grant writing, fundraising, strategic planning, financial management and general start-up and expansion assistance. Juan Corradi, Ph.D.

Dr. Juan Corradi is a Professor of Sociology at New York University. He has a Ph.D. 1974 (Sociology), M.A. 1967 (Sociology), B.A. (summa cum laude) 1965 (Sociology), Brandeis University. His areas of research include fear and violence; urban cultures; corporate social responsibility programs in developing countries; sociological theory and sociology of culture. Dr. Corradi has received several awards and honors including Breaking Barriors Award, National Hispanic Employees Association, 1996; Visiting Scholar, Ecole des Hautes Etudes, Paris, 1993; Fulbright Fellow, Argentina, 1985; Tinker Fellow, 1977-1978; Phi Beta Kappa, 1965; Wien International Fellow, 1962-1965. Kimberly D. Wise, MPH

Kimberly Wise has a wealth of experience working with health care associations, non-profit organizations, federal and state government agencies, pharmaceutical companies and Fortune 500 corporations. Her career has included work on chronic diseases (including obesity, diabetes, asthma and cardiovascular disease), cancer, women’s health, mental health and gastroenterology. READ FULL BIO

Phil Ingram

Phil Ingram is an aspiring scholar, a community organizer, and an advocate. Fluent in French and Japanese, Phil focuses his professional attention on issues of immigration, labor and the conditions of the working classes, and the mitigating (and detrimental) potentials of social institutions. Sarah Sosbe

Sarah Sosbe has been teaching grades 6-8 in a public school in the Bronx for the last eight years and this school year is working at Promise Academy Junior High School through the Harlem Children’s Zone. After graduating from the University of Colorado with degrees in History and English, she joined the Teach for America organization where she was assigned to teach in New York City. She earned her Masters of Science in Teaching degree from Fordham University. Sarah recently completed a second Masters of Education in Administration and Supervision degree through Fordham University’s Educational Leadership Enhancement Program. READ FULL BIO

Sharon Harris

Sharon Harris is the Senior Global Product Marketing Manager for Microsoft’s Mobile, Local and Commerce Advertising Group. She is responsible for Microsoft’s global go to market strategy for mobile advertising products. Sharon works on the global business leveraging virtual work teams to launch new products. She is currently responsible for the 2012 launch of advertising on Skype mobile which was acquired Microsoft in 2010. Sharon leads sales training as well as new product innovation in mobile. With over 15 years of traditional media and digital media experience, Sharon is a new media veteran who has helped brand and launch many campaigns and products. From satellite radio to interactive TV initiatives, Sharon has worked with a variety of senior management teams to help define their digital brand and business strategy. Sharon has held key marketing executive positions at Sirius Satellite Radio and Discovery Communications, Inc. the parent company to The Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, The Travel Channel, Animal Planet, Discovery Kids, BBC America and 5 digital channels. Robert Bailey

Robert Bailey is a Certified Public Accountant and owner of Robert E. Bailey Tax, Accounting and Consulting Services. A licensed CPA since 1974, he has provided services to small businesses, individuals, national and international nonprofits, faith based organizations and large companies over the course of his career. Emily Barnes

Emily Barnes is currently the Director of Development & Communications at DAIS (Domestic Abuse Intervention Services) in Madison, Wisconsin. Emily has over a decade of development experience, and her nonprofit fundraising background spans from large public universities to small community-focused nonprofits.
